Tyler Smith is a wildfire technology expert who has dedicated his career to advancing innovation solutions to help prevent and mitigate impact from wildfires. With 15 years of experience with the wildfire community, Tyler is a trusted advisor to government agencies, private agencies, private companies and NGO's.

Most recently Tyler has been working with thermal imaging satellites that offer new and unique capabilities to monitor wildfires in the thermal infrared spectrum at a scale and cost that has never been available before. This technology allows for early detection and alerting of potential threats and more effective management of firefighting resources.
