About Steve Wolf

Having worked as a pyrotechnic special effects coordinator for Tom Cruise and James Cameron, and hosted several Discovery Science shows, Steve Wolf has had extraordinary opportunities to work with an enormous variety of fires, under a wide of conditions. Along the way, he developed dozens of novel fire suppression technologies, including the use of man made portable hurricanes that can blow back fires. He left the movie industry to commit his fire knowledge to wildfire suppression, through his startup, Team Wildfire, which is backed by Tim Draper, Techstars, and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
