About Donnye Winship

I was born and raised in Texas, attended Texas Tech University where I received my B.S in both Math and Psychology. Since the day I graduated I have been doing Financial Planning. I started Owl Power Solutions a few years ago after my lights flickered while I was in the shower. It got me wondering why homes are not required to have power failure lighting and what kind of products are out there for that purpose. After a few months of research a colleague and I embarked on this journey.

I am married, have 5 kids (all out of the house) and in my spare time I also coach triathletes, and run a few triathlons when I can find the time.
