GFP Response established in 2000, has been responding to the nation’s hurricanes, fires, and other emergencies for over two decades. GFP has performed as the prime contractor for F.E.M.A., many gulf states, and many private entities. GFP’s experience includes: Base camp mobilization, installation, management, and demobilization Managing Critical Warehouse distribution facilities Managing Evacuation Shelters with Incident Management Teams, including Critical Transportation Needs Shelters (large populations), Medical Special Care Needs Shelters, Federal Medical Stations, and Sex Offender Shelters. Comfort Station Missions, setting up and managing 72 locations all at the same time. Providing Catastrophe Management assistance working side by side with agency management in Emergency Operations Centers, providing and managing key staging locations for critical equipment and resources, providing initial-attack firefighting hand crews, equipment (including mobile food service), and Incident Command System qualified personnel to the federal government and state governments on an annual basis. Providing Incident Command System training via a Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Forest Service (GFP can train its own as well as outside entities). GFP has a large inventory of equipment and resources staged throughout the country available for nationwide response, including mobile food kitchens, tenting with beds, mobile showers, mobile laundry, mobile generators, potable water trucks, gray water trucks, portable toilets and toilet trailers, incident command trailers, and lighting towers. What sets GFP apart from the rest of our competition is we have over 300 TRAINED IN- HOUSE STAFF & FIREFIGHTERS.
